Congress Toughens Bankruptcy Laws but Americans Get Deeper in Debt
ATLANTA, Ga. - Bankruptcies and foreclosures are at an all-time high, and millions of Americans are struggling without success to get out of debt, but help is on the way with a free financial fitness workshop Oct. 22. Congress has created new laws governing bankruptcies, but those laws do nothing to help reverse the trend of more and more people becoming insolvent.
